How Technology is Changing the Way We Concieve of Evidence

Mid-Year Meeting Conference on Evidence: The Future of Evidence: How Science and Technology are Changing Evidence Law, Association of American Law Schools, March 2008.

This conference was held June 3-6, 2008, to highlight the major forces for change in evidence law today. These changes relate to the implications of the Daubert trilogy and amended Federal Rule of Evidence 702. Also, the conference addressed how technology is changing the way we conceive of “evidence” itself. In addition, the conference addressed  assumptions concerning the jury and effects of evidence rules on the jury.
