Ghanaian Educationist Calls for a “Better Education”

Reverend Samuel Afanie Amankwah stated that there is a need for a “better education” for Ghanaians to ensure the rapid socio-economic development of the nation. He stressed the need for a change in such attitudes to make the call for better education more meaningful and relevant to contemporary economic revolution. Reverend Amankwah highlighted a number of items that should be carried out for the realization of better education, including:  joining stakeholders of education and politicians, preventing government interference in education policies, discipline at all levels from students to school administrators, and allowing education policies to exist long enough to reach their desired result.
